for Less Cost!

A highly regarded benefit for drivers is how aerodynamic trucks/trailers are better at reducing the severity of the affects of sudden wind gusts and strong crosswinds . Wind tunnel studies show, when used alone with flat top horse, the Streamline Fairing increases mileage +/-10% in a zero degree wind and +/-12% in a ten-degree crosswind. The same study found the horse and trailer system increases mileage per liter by +/-10% in a headwind, but actually decreases drag +/-5% in a ten-degree crosswind.

Streamline Fairings effectively bridge the gap between the horse and the trailer front wall, making up as much as +/-0.3 kilometers per liter over a cab roof mounted system alone.

Trailers are also wider than horses and aerodynamic efficiency can be further improved by adding the Side-Tubes option to the Streamline Fairing. Proven to save an additional +/-5%, Side-Tubes reduce resistance along the upright corners of the trailer and provide uninterrupted flow along the exposed portion of the trailer’s front side posts.

For less than a fifth of the cost, the complete trailer aerodynamic system with both, the Streamline Fairing and Side-Tubes, saves nearly the same or more when compared to the complete horse mounted systems.
